Did you know that ping pong has been shown to reduce the symptoms of Parkinsons?EGT Parks and Recreation is proud to announce it has been accepted as a formal chapter of PingPong Parkinson (PPP), a national, non-profit with the goal of defeating Parkinson's through ping pong. PPP will meet each Tuesday morning from 9:30a-11a. Each session begins with a warm up and exercises before playing ping pong! Class is capped at 12 participants. YOGA FLOW - Experience gentle Yoga flows, which combines posture, breath, focus, and meditation. With this practice you will notice that not only your body changes, but you also become aware of a subtle change in your approach to life,  through persistently toning and  relaxing the body and stilling the mind, you begin to glimpse a state of inner peace which is your true nature.  Gentle Yoga - Suitable for seniors, beginners and students who have taken yoga before Date: Tuesday, September 3 – December 17, 2024 (No class Oct 15 / Election Day, Nov 5)Time: 5:30 pm - 6:45 pmTuition: $125Location: East Goshen Township Building
 
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM    Zumba Fitness - Zumba Fitness and Strength, Core and Stretch
Zumba Fitness with Strength, Stretch and Core Fall Zumba Fitness with Stretch, Core and Toning 6:00-7:00pm at East Goshen Elementary School Gym Enjoy the fun music and dancing of Zumba International rhythms with added fitness strength moves as squats, lunges. The last 15 minutes of class is focused on core exercises on the mat and ending with peaceful, relaxing yoga stretches. Sept. 10,17, 24, October 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 8 classes $80 or single classes $12 per class ***Please bring free weights and yoga matContact: Pamela Nelson zumba2live@aol.com

GENTLE YOGA - Suitable for seniors, beginners, and students who have taken yoga before looking for a slower paced class. This slow paced class can help slow down the effects of the aging process by maintaining muscle softness and flexibility, keeping the mind alert and awake, encouraging relaxation and strengthening muscles and joints. Improve cardiovascular health, sleep, and balance encouraging the body, mind and spirit to remain healthy and strong. Date: Thursday, September 5 – December 19, 2024 (No class Oct 31 / Thanksgiving)Time: 4:00 pm - 5:00 pmTuition: $105  Location: East Goshen Township Building
