Adult Wheelchair Basketball
EG Parks and Recreation is starting an Adult Wheelchair Basketball league this year in partnership with Help-U-Bridge Recreational Therapy!
May: two opportunities to play for FREE! Come on out and give it a try!
Goal is to create a six week league for the fall.
Sessions led by Jimmy Falls. "Jimmy Falls is a left below-knee amputee who’s been in the game since 1983, when he first picked up wheelchair basketball at Temple University — and he’s been running the floor ever since. After losing his leg at 20, Jim became a true team leader and recruiter, bringing countless adaptive athletes into the line up across wheelchair basketball, adaptive tennis, softball, cycling, rowing, and more recently pickle ball and sitting volleyball. "
