Salute to Service
Join Township officials, youth groups and more amazing volunteers as we salute military veterans with our own community service project.
Saturday, Nov 7th
The Salute to Service event includes:
9am (EGT Park)
Playing of National Anthem
Remarks from local, military veterans; *This is also an opportunity for youth groups to work on public speaking badges via introducing the various speakers*
10am (Neighborhood)
We identify 3-4 Senior Citizens needing help raking leaves. All involved (100+ volunteers) work in teams. Lunch provided at 12pm.
Total event time: 9a - 12:30p
