Become one of George Washington's spies and help win the Revolutionary War!
There have been spies in Chester County since the 1600s, but did you know that George Washington’s own spy ring was once headquartered here?
Spy Camp at the East Goshen Blacksmith Shop will give children the chance to learn to read and write in cipher and code, find hidden messages in everyday objects, explore the science of invisible ink, and develop their own secret identity. They’ll also learn about real spies who operated in the area during the 18th century and beyond. Held in partnership with the Chester County Historical Center, an EGT-WGT America250 event.
